I’ve always been a bagpiper…

Bagpiper in Rochester, NY
The Rochester Bagpiper

My parents knew something was off when I started carrying a fanny pack around the house. After some investigation, they discovered I was pretending it was a set of bagpipes.

I told them I wanted to be a bagpiper more than anything. I was four years old.

They found me a teacher, and I’ve been a bagpiper since.

Bagpipes have taken me around the United States, Canada, and Scotland. I was a founding member of the Feadan Or Pipe Band in Rochester before competing with the world championship-winning 78th Fraser Highlanders in Toronto, Canada.

Since 2023, I’ve been the only full-time piper in the Rochester area. I pinch myself daily to remember it’s true.

I currently teach almost twenty students, am a bagpipe faculty member at the Hochstein School of Music, am available for hire for any occasion, and am current pipe major of Feadan Or’s Grade Five competition band.

If you’re looking for a professional with lifelong experience, world-class quality, and who will commit the time to making your event special, I’d love to be your piper.

If you’re looking for someone who lives, eats, and breathes pipes to teach you how to play and become a piper yourself, I’m here to help you take the plunge.

Get in touch, and if it requires bagpipes, I’m your guy.
